At
Scouts Canada
, our
Mission
is clear: to help develop well-rounded youth, better prepared for success in the world. We do this by enabling thousands of young
Canadians
to engage in safe, youth-led, adventurous programs in hundreds of communities across this great country.
As Scouters, we know how integral our movement is to enriching the lives of the youth in our communities. This workshop is aimed at strengthening your Group's ability to provide even more youth with the gift of Scouting.
This workshop will give you and your Scouting teammates the skills, ideas and resources to
- Recruit new Scouters
- Foster stronger and more meaningful relationships with parents
- Find meeting spaces outside of the usual churches and school gyms
- Implement patrols to provide high quality program and improve retention
- Showcase the value of Scouting in your community
- And more!

Who Should Come to this Workshop?
This workshop is offered to all Scouters in Shining Waters, but will be most useful for Group Commissioners and Section Scouters and anyone within the group who helps out with section planning and recruitment.
