Join us in commemorating a remarkable 25 years of dedicated programs and local partnerships that have significantly contributed to child well-being in Cabarrus County. We look forward to sharing our impact with you and presenting this year's Anne Laukaitis Champion for Children Award!

We invite you to take part in our initiatives to bring warmth and hope into the lives of the children who need it most. Click the title of each of the initiatives listed below for full details on how to get involved.

>> Duffle Bags of Hope | Collect items to fill 30 bags with supplies and personal care items for children entering foster care in our county. Drop off the items you've collected when you see us at the luncheon!

>> Cuddle Up Coat Drive | You can also bring children's winter coats to donate at the start of the luncheon. Last winter, your donations allowed us to distribute 243 coats to children throughout the county. The most needed sizes are 5-6 for boys/girls.

>> Monetary Donations | These funds help us purchase coats for children who need sizes that we don't have, missing supplies needed for the Duffle Bags of Hope program, and items (diapers, formula, car seats, pack'n play, etc.) for families with young children who have experienced a house fire or other emergency that requires community assistance.

>> Christmas Cards | We will be selling Christmas cards that are designed by young children here in the community. If you would like to purchase cards before the event, please email: lauren@cabarruspartnership.org

Last Chance to Submit Nominations

Nominations for the Anne Laukaitis Champion for Children Award are due by October 13! This award is given annually to an exceptional individual at the local level who is devoted to public service and whose leadership qualities have resulted in significant change for the betterment of young children, families, and communities. The award will be presented to the winner during the Voices for Children Luncheon on December 5.
