The 2023 National Whitney M. Young, Jr. Service Award banquet honors two members of the community who have demonstrated a significant level of commitment and service to the community's youth and benefits the Chattahoochee Council, Boy Scouts of America. Funds raised go towards opening doors for underserved youth within our community by providing experiences that aim to enhance developmental growth, self-esteem, character building, and life skills through our Scouting program. These youth are also exposed to STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) programs.

Our goal is to provide a quality Scouting program for every youth, regardless of their financial background.
