The last night we’ll meet at The Miraculous Medal Shrine, where we’ll use elements from the previous evenings to create unique advent wreaths. Don’t just see the beauty of Advent this year. Experience it.

Give your children the gift of enduring peace. When children are confronted with problems, prayer brings them comfort and helps them feel secure. For January, we’ll discuss prayer in a simple and easy way that kids (and even adults) can remember and apply in their lives. Then we’ll create a roll-up prayer card and prayer booklets to bring home. Enjoy nut-free and gluten-free snacks as well. This event is free, but registration is required to ensure we have enough materials for attendees.

Registration deadline: Sunday, January 2

According to legend, the chrysanthemum was also "born" at the same hour as Our Lord. When the Wise Men arrived in Bethlehem, they were unable to find the exact spot where the Infant was laid. They had expected to hear music, dancing, or the laughter of a feast, but all they heard was silence. Then Melchior saw a flower with petals shaped like the star, which guided them to Bethlehem. He bent down to pick it up and discovered the entrance to the stable. He carried the flower in and laid it in the hand of the Little King - His first scepter.

"I was told recently by my eye doctor that I had a hole in the retina. Twenty years ago, I also had a hole and lost some vision. I had to wait a week to see the Retina Specialist and prayed a Rosary every day and lit a candle at the Shrine. The Specialist said there was no hole. Thank you, Blessed Mother!" ~ G.H.

St. Thomas Aquinas has been quoted as saying, "The celebration of Holy Mass is as valuable as the death of Jesus on the Cross." That's because Jesus, who died on the Cross for us, is truly present in the Eucharist. He's not sacrificed again at the Mass; instead, we are entering into that moment where He offered Himself for us. It's the ultimate "time travel," the greatest prayer, and the most valuable activity we can participate in.
