You are invited to join us for a very special webinar, Creating a Welcoming Scouting Experience, to support your local initiatives in welcoming new families to Scouting.

The evening will kick off with an introduction from the National BSA Executive Board chair-elect, Brad Tilden, and will be hosted by Cascade Pacific Council’s Board Chair, Kaleen Deatherage.

Kaleen will discuss the four key “ingredients” to creating an inclusive experience:

·      Engaging ALL of our people resources.

·      Invite and sustain diversity through Inclusive Culture.

·      Focus on continued education and training.

·      Linking DEI to core functions and organization performance.

Brad Tilden recently retired as chairman and CEO of Alaska Airlines, where he worked for over 31 years. Brad has served on the National BSA Executive Board since 2014 and is an Eagle Scout.

Kaleen Deatherage is a senior consultant with Page Two Partners, a company providing leadership transition and related services for not-for-profit organizations. Kaleen, who is the Board Chair of the Cascade Pacific Council, played a leadership role in integrating girls into Scouts BSA and currently chairs the organization’s task force for diversity, equity, and inclusion. She is a recipient of both the Silver Beaver and Silver Antelope awards.
