Peace Bright Soul,

We've had many deeply meaningful programs on the land this year that have rehydrated our faith in the face of struggle. Big thanks to everyone who joined us and brought your authentic self into our spiral of love. We are excited to share our finale offerings of the year in hopes you can join us before the season wraps!

Sending strength from these lands,

WILDSEED fam

Join our Konbit Community Work Days and immerse yourself in hands-on land stewardship, learn regenerative agricultural practices, and contribute to vital farm projects. "Konbit," a Haitian Creole term, signifies communal land work where individuals pool skills and resources to assist each other in tasks that would be difficult to accomplish alone.

  • September 26: We will be weeding, mulching, harvesting, and herb drying in the Mandala Medicine Garden with a special opportunity to learn from and celebrate Black elder herbalist and teacher Sarah Elisabeth.

  • November 14: Pile Fé community herbal medicine making and celebrating WILDSEED's 10th birthday!

Each Konbit day runs from 12:00 - 6:00 and includes a hearty half-time meal.

EQUILIBRIUM: Embodied Balance in Celebration of the Equinox

a soul nourishing day of movement, reflection, and connection

As the Earth prepares to exhale into Autumn, we’ll gather to honor the precious balance between light and shadow, body and spirit, self and collective. Held on the sacred Afro-Indigenous lands of Soul Fire Farm this Sunday, our gathering will be rich with dance, capoeira, meditation, Thai massage, and restorative rest.

We’ll nourish our bodies with farm-to-table meals and our spirits with the warmth of beloved community. Come as you are, and leave more fortified.

Sunday, September 21st 12 - 7:30pm EDT

Details & Registration

(Please note this event is taking place at Soul Fire Farm, not WILDSEED, though Naima conceived of this event at WILDSEED and some WILDSEED fam will be there so want to make sure you are in the know!)

A special invitation from Naima, Co-Founder and Visionary Co-Director:

You are warmly welcome to be part of the dream I am weaving~

INTERWOVEN: An Immersive Installation of Ritual, Aerial Dance & Poetry

This work is an evolution of DREAMSPACE which you may have seen elements of at the Oasis at WILDSEED.

The theme of my offering for this year is "We got us!" - enlivening the safety net of our relationships and the power of beloved community in the face of the forces of fragmentation. Through ritual, rope work, and poetry, we will embody the interdependent web that sustains us all.

Guests will be invited into a universe of tactile wonder and become protagonists in our collective rescue. In a time of overwhelming devastation, INTERWOVEN seeks to harness the power of creativity to illuminate pathways forward, rooted in the knowledge that our intentional collective action shapes what is to come.

INTERWOVEN will take place for 2 days only! October 18 & 19 at Soul Fire Farm

We are celebrating 10 years of WILDSEED, cultivating healing justice and beloved community on land. If you can't make it in person, you are invited to explore WILDSEED's new website! We hope it offers a portal deeper into the land, our community, our history and the futures we are crafting together.  If you are inspired, please donate to WILDSEED so we can continue to provide sanctuary for BIPOC land lovers. Thank you so much for being part of our journey!

WILDSEED Community Farm & Healing Village is a creative sanctuary rooted in reciprocal relationships with land, water and ecology in the Mid Hudson Valley, NY. Centering the leadership and radical imaginations of BIPOC stewards, we grow food, medicine, and love as infrastructure for solidarity economies to nourish our ancestors, ourselves and generations to come.
