Freeman A. Hrabowski, III, has served as President of UMBC (The University of Maryland, Baltimore County) since 1992. His research and publications focus on science and math education, with special emphasis on minority participation and performance. He serves as a consultant to the National Science Foundation, the National Institutes of Health, the National Academies, and universities and school systems nationally. He also serves on the boards of the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation, France-Merrick Foundation, Marguerite Casey Foundation (Chair), T. Rowe Price Group, The Urban Institute, McCormick & Company, and the Baltimore Equitable Society. He served previously on the boards of the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching and the Maryland Humanities Council (member and Chair).

Donna Hill Staton is an attorney who has built a diverse legal career counseling clients across industries and government. After serving as Maryland’s Deputy Attorney General, Associate Judge for the Circuit Court for Howard County, Commercial Litigation Partner with the law firm of Piper & Marbury, LLP (DLA Piper) and Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable J. Joseph Howard of the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland, she co-founded Decision Point Strategy Group, LLC in 2018 and now leverages her broad experience to provide crisis prevention and mediation services. An experienced director, she has served on boards of financial, educational, cultural, legal and charitable organizations. Since 2009 she has served as a director of Howard Bancorp Inc., a publicly traded company headquartered in Baltimore, and its wholly owned subsidiary, Howard Bank. She chairs the Governance and Nominating Committee and sits on the Compensation Committee. In 2019 she was elected to the Board of Trustees of the George Washington University, where she is a member of the Committees on Governance and Nominations, Academic Affairs and the Strategic Planning Task Force.

Ellen Fish serves as Group Manager at Sandy Spring Bank handling special projects at the direction of the Co-Presidents and CEOs. She previously served as Hamilton Bank’s Executive Vice President and Chief Lending Officer where she had responsibility for the Bank’s branches, IT, operations, marketing, loan administration, cash management and all lending functions. Ms. Fish currently serves on the Board of Directors for MedStar Union Memorial Hospital. She is a past president of Executive Alliance and currently chairs the Census Report Committee, which produced the 2020 Women Board Directors Census Report..
