It's almost here! Shining Stars Luncheon 9/23
We  know your inbox has been flooded with reminders of North Texas Giving Day (ours have!). AND we know there are many more to come. 

North Texas Giving Day is an online giving event for people to come together to raise as much money as possible for North Texas nonprofits on one day:  

Giving Day 2016 is Thursday, September 22, from 6 AM Central - Midnight.

We don't mean to add to your inbox woes, but it is our sincere hope that on Sept. 22, as a valued member of our creative family, you will think of Arts Council Northeast and how important you are to providing more than 50 free concerts a year, through our MasterWorks series, that everyone in our communities can enjoy. Your gift also helps to bring " Art on Wheels" to seniors, children in hospitals, and veterans as a fun, creative art-therapy with our local artists. We are grateful for every dollar and gift that helps us to provide scholarships for children who are financially unable to attend Summer Arts College so they can enjoy a week of art and theater camp at no cost to their family.

You also can help the Arts Council win an additional $10,000 grant from
the Gene & Jerry Jones Foundation if you vote for Arts Council Northeast as the People's Choice at the Luke Wade concert on Sept. 22

When you donate on #NTXgivingDay Sept. 22, your gift above $25 will go further with added funds from the Communities Foundation of Texas. 

So, if you haven't given this year, or you would like to give again, Sept. 22 is the day to give!

Please mark your calendar, leave yourself a voice mail, set a reminder on your phone/computer/iPad -- whatever will remind you that on Sept. 22, it's time to Get Up & Give to support free music concerts, Art on Wheels, and Summer Arts College!

This is our 20th annual luncheon, celebrating extraordinary volunteers from over 30 area nonprofits.
