Save the date for our 30th anniversary party!

We can hardly believe it, but this fall marks our 30th birthday, and we're having a party at the store to celebrate! We'll have a food truck (So Good Pupusas), sweet treats; beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages; music from Ron's Band; and a special anniversary souvenir. All are welcome, and we hope you'll save the date and join us from 5:30-7:30 PM on Saturday, October 1!

Thirty years ago, our store was founded by volunteers, and volunteers still play a crucial role in ensuring BCFT runs smoothly today. We haven't trained new volunteers since 2020 due to the pandemic, but we're getting ready to resume training this month to get new folks up to speed before our busy November/December holiday season!

Depending on their interests, our volunteers help us complete behind-the-scenes tasks like unpacking and tagging product shipments, serve a customer-facing role like greeting and gift-wrapping, or both! If you're at least 15 years old, available for a 2-hour shift once a month, and interested in learning more about fair trade, click below to complete an application. Please apply by September 23rd if you would like to volunteer this fall and holiday season. Our next volunteer trainings will be in 2023!
