Dear Colleagues,

Registration is now open for the Virtual Learning Community Book Group experience hosted by University Equity and Inclusion. Staff, faculty, and students from all chancellor-led units and central administration are invited to register. Book discussion groups will be spaces to help individuals develop skills and unpack challenges to fostering a respectful community by enabling participants to practice thoughtful interaction across difference with the book as a guide.

All participants will receive a hard copy of "What If I Say the Wrong Thing" by campus mail prior to the first session.
Group 1 will meet from noon to 1 pm on the following Thursdays:

  • October 13 and 20
  • November 3 and 17
  • December 1 and 15

Registration closes 9/29.
Group 2 will meet from 4 to 5 pm on the following Wednesdays:

  • November 2, 9, 16, and 30
  • December 7 and 14
