Scatter Terrain

Join Lebanon Valley College for their upcoming art exhibition Scatter Terrain. The term “scatter terrain,” borrowed from role-playing and war games, refers to miniature fragments of architecture, natural features, or small props that provide a visual aid for players. These three-dimensional objects serve as cues to better envision a larger, shared narrative of the game. This exhibition presents pockets of “terrain”—representations of peculiar landscapes, architectural gestures, and intimate domestic corners—by 25 contemporary artists.

4th Annual Veterans' Day Concert

In honor of Veteran’s Day the Lebanon Community Concert Band will be performing a special concert. The evening performance will include selections featuring vocalists Steve Bord & Jessica Weidman and feature soloists Emily Shertzer on Oboe and Drew Wolgemuth on Trombone. Veteran Appreciation Drive-Thru Event

All Lebanon County veterans, active military members and their families are invited to join this event in honor of your brave service. Veterans will drive a predetermined route through the parking lot that will be lined with local organization and businesses displaying signs of gratitude. SOGI Guidance for Research Screening

The Penn State Community Health Equity and Engagement in Research (CHEER) team will host a session to provide guidance to researchers around how to appropriately and sensitively complete screening when asking sexual orientation and gender identity (SOGI) data with potential research participants. This session will highlight how unconscious bias may surface during screening, and how an inclusive approach to study enrollment can mitigate health disparities within the LGBTQ+ community. Donation to Class
The Lebanon County Career and Technology Center is happy to extend a big thank you to Precision, LLC for donating supplies and equipment to the Plumbing/HVAC class. The program received a variety of equipment from water heaters, well tanks, submersible pumps, mini split system, coils, copper tubing, and soldering supplies.

Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) is an interfaith method of theological education through which a student exercises and learns pastoral skills. It provides a learning situation to develop awareness of the theological and psycho-social concerns of persons in crisis. The Lebanon VA seeks to celebrate, refine and to enhance your already natural, innate, and honed gifts for spiritual care. Class and clinical time will be 40 hours per week.
