"I would like to express my utmost appreciation for Britepaths. The assistance that my family receives helps us in so many ways. I came to Britepaths overwhelmed by my financial situation. The food assistance and mentoring program has changed my life, and my family's life, in ways I cannot fully explain. I am grateful for Britepaths."

Ms. C and her family are receiving support through our Food Bridge program while she works in our Financial Mentoring program to improve their financial outlook. She wrote this note to thank the Democratic Women of Clifton and Northern Virginia for the grocery store gift cards her family received last month.

This is a wonderful expression of the gratitude we hear from so many of our clients throughout the year. We extend this appreciation to you for providing the support we need to change lives like Ms. C's. Thank You!

Stuff the Bus

What a wonderful day to help our neighbors! We are grateful to everyone who donated to our Stuff the Bus Food Drive at Walmart Fairfax on Saturday, February 11. We raised 1,154.20 pounds of food and supplies, $910 in gift cards and $236.78 in cash to stock up our pantry so we can help local families in crisis.

A huge thank you to our 30 wonderful volunteers for all their great work, Walmart Fairfax for hosting us, and Fairfax County and MV Transportation (Fastran) for sponsoring the drives.

Fairfax Turkey Trot

A big thank you to the Fairfax Turkey Trot in Mantua and event sponsors for donating $27,600 to help our families! A few of the organizers visited us on February 3 to present us with a check for the proceeds from the Thanksgiving Day race: $24,500. Event sponsors donated an additional total of $3,100.

The November 24, 2022 race marked the 10th year for this fun, family-friendly four-miler in the Mantua neighborhood of Fairfax, with a record 1,204 finishers. The organizers first selected Britepaths to receive proceeds from the race in 2016. We are so honored that they have continued to support our work for the past seven years, contributing a total of more than $113,000!
