Hello, Map Friends!

Happy Spring! The Vernal Equinox has come, which means that from now until September, the days will be longer than the nights. We know we aren't the only ones basking in every bit of sunshine we can find and looking forward to warmer days ahead!

It is delightful to see the crocus blooming and the daffodils beginning to emerge! These are the first flowers of the year! We hope Spring will bring you much delight as the world bursts into bloom!

Below, we shall highlight some exciting new maps, but you can always visit our Newly Listed Maps section to see everything from the past month or so. We have a Great Maps - Super Deals category that offers our discounted items. And don't forget that we also have a category specifically for maps under $100!

If you are looking for something specific, we recommend using the search function or the "Filter By" function on the left side above the listings to search within a category.

George W. Eldridge's Chart C

One of our most desirable charts is back in stock! George W. Eldridge's Chart C covers Nantucket Sound, Vineyard Sound, and Chatham Bay. This stunning example is in original condition- it survived over 100 years hidden inside the wall of an old house. It has some of the best back labels we have ever seen.

California as an Island

This map shows California as an island, a large Terra Esonis Incognita to the northwest, a large Spanish Florida, a mysterious landmass near Tierra del Fuego, a river with a series of lakes that connect the Gulf of Mexico and the Straits of Anian and Pacific Ocean, Quivira (the legendary city of gold), an interesting representation of the Great Lakes, a series of imaginary islands in the Pacific, and the Solomon Islands much larger and closer to South America. A truly fascinating map to study!
