FirstPark Attends MEREDA Conference
FirstPark was represented at the 2019 Maine Real Estate Forecast Conference and Member Showcase held January 17 in Portland. The annual event is hosted by the Maine Real Estate & Development Association. Over 1,000 of Maine’s leading commercial real estate experts attended the conference that is specifically geared toward developers, brokers, architects, bankers, attorneys, accountants and other industry professionals. Among local faces seen at the conference were FirstPark’s Jim Dinkle, Coldwell Banker’s Don Plourde, Central Maine Growth Council’s Garvan Donegan, Maine State Credit Union’s Bruce Harrington and Doyle & Nelson attorney Craig Nelson.
MEREDA forecast for the central Maine commercial real estate market in the coming year was a very stable, healthy market. Investment in the region is expected to continue; opportunities continue to exist despite limited inventory; market knowledge remains critical; all sectors will benefit in 2019; and consider the market for 2020.
