Goal Attained!

Aleksi was referred to the workforce program after he graduated with an associate degree from McHenry County College in 2022. Aleksi had a general idea of careers he wanted to explore. He expressed an interest in customer service, purchasing, or in human resources. Alekis did not want a long commute and narrowed down his interest to two specific companies. With assistance from the young adult career planners Alexis was able to complete a job shadow at the company of his choice. Shortly thereafter Aleksi was asked to interview for the role of a customer service representative with the company as an intern. Aleksi completed a six-week internship and shared he wanted to join the company full-time. During this time the company had an order specialist role become available and Aleksi was their first choice to fill this opportunity. Aleksi was offered employment and has successfully been as his company of choice for over six months. He has learned the life cycle of product development from the first steps to the end including product assemble, product ordering while providing excellent customer service and perfect attendance. Alexis is happy with his career pathway. He looks forward to a very promising career and a successful future. As always the workforce wishes Aleksi the
