Bring the Simcha of Yom Tov to Others: Open your homes to Hachnasat Orchim
The High Holidays are a time to not only enjoy with family, but also with friends and neighbors, even those you may not know so well. Over the course of the next few weeks, it behooves all of us to ensure that everyone has a place for their Yom Tov meals. We know, from the earliest days of our history - going back to Avraham , that Hachnasat Orchim (hosting guests) is an especiallyimportant mitzvah in our tradition.
Please step out of your comfort zones and invite those who you think might be alone, or without family, over the holidays throughout this High Holiday season, from Rosh Hashana through Sukkot.

Wishing everyone a meaningful and fulfilling Shana Tova,
Rabbi Jonathan Morgenstern
