Successful Volunteering: PNA's Annual Winter Fest Recap
December 3rd

Volunteering at Phinney Neighborhood Association's annual Winterfest event was successful! We helped with clearing out the vendors' items and cleaned up the community center.

The PNA's 37th Annual Winter Festival was a great time for ASCE members to get involved in their local community. The event is the PNA's largest fundraiser for a number of programs, such as the Hot Meal Program, the Greenwood Senior Center, a Tool Lending  Library, and more!

Thanks to all those who came out to participate.

Washington Report Card Update!
ASCE Seattle Section is looking for volunteers to act as leads for a few fields (Aviation, Drinking Water, Energy, Hazardous Waste, Transit). The report card is a way for Civil Engineers to better communicate with the general public about the current condition and performance of the country's infrastructure. In 2013,   Washington state's report card  was graded with a C! In 2017, the country's overall grade was event lower, at D+!

If you are interested in leading or supporting us in updating the Report Card, please contact Erik Ellingsen at  [email protected]. More info on the report card can be found at:
