In Our Prayers

  • We pray that God's peace and comfort will surround Margaret "Peg" Mayo, whose husband Robert Mayo died unexpectedly on Monday. May Peg feel the loving care of our congregation in this time of grief and loss.

  • We offer our prayers for the Winter Olympics that begin today in Italy. At this time when our world is fractured in so many ways, we pray for peace and positivity in these games. May this gathering of countries and athletes help us to see more clearly the things that all people hold in common, and may lasting bonds of friendship and cooperation be born in the coming weeks.

Do you have a prayer request to share with our LAC community? Call our prayer line at

SAVE THE DATE!

The Church & Community Committee is putting together a special Day of Service on Saturday morning, March 7.

Members, families, and friends of LAC are invited to gather in Russell Hall for a light breakfast before heading out to complete an array of hands-on projects to support our Mission Partners and assist our neighbors in need.

2026 Mission Trip

In just one week, LAC will be heading to the Dominican Republic with Bridges to Community to build a safe, sturdy, and lasting home for a local family. This year, 18 of our members have signed up to go--the largest group from LAC to participate in a service trip!

We are grateful to have the opportunity to serve in a practical, hands-on-way, and to be the church beyond our walls. This trip is about more than construction—it’s about connection, compassion, and showing up for our neighbors in real ways.

Thank you to all who have generously donated to make this trip happen. Support is still needed! We are $3,000 short of our fundraising goal. If you are able to give, please click this link: Give to be directed to our website. Be sure to select 2026 Mission Trip on the Donate Now drop-down menu.
