In Our Prayers
Please also keep in your prayers Donna Runyan, a cousin of Diane Williams, who has battled multiple sclerosis for many years and is now in Hospice care.
Lori Godwin says that the prayers for Harry, the son of her friend Jane, have worked. He is making good progress. But Lori does ask for our prayers for Mike, the husband of Lori's childhood friend Ann. Mike is battling cancer and has recently been hospitalized.
Prayers are requested for John Horn, a close friend of Rev. Bynum, who was recently diagnosed with esophageal cancer. We pray that his chemotherapy treatments will shrink the tumor, that surgery will be possible, and that he and his family will be buoyed and encouraged by the love and prayers that are being offered on their behalf.

ALL ARE INVITED. BRING A FRIEND & SPREAD THE WORD!
-
April 3rd -- Andrea Markowitz, LCSW, Program Director at Cancer Support Community Greater NY & CT at Gilda’s Club, will discuss the challenges of being a caregiver to a loved one.

VOLUNTEER LIVESTREAM OPERATORS NEEDED!
Ever wonder how LAC's weekly worship livestream gets produced? Behind the scenes each week, Christina O'Neill is running this video control board, keeping our cameras fixed on the action.
If you have any interest in learning how to operate this technology and serving as a backup operator, we would love to train you. The equipment is user-friendly, and your contribution would be a great help to our worship ministry.
Email Rev. Bynum at pbynum@lacny.org if you are interested!

MUSIC IN WORSHIP
Music penetrates the deepest parts of our soul, giving voice to our expression and response to God and the church. We are proud to praise God through diverse musical offerings each week, at our Sunday Worship Service and the Community Music to which we open our doors.
This week in Worship, we are pleased to have the Larchmont Symphonia join us, and Nicole Sharlow, (Larchmont Symphonia) will offer a violin solo.
There are special musical offerings planned for Holy Week and Easter Sunday:
On Good Friday, the Choir will present a sung version of the Passion by Randall DeBruyn. On Easter Sunday, the Choir is joined by a Brass Quintet for music by Craig Phillips and Shawn Kirchner.
| |
We hope that you have found the Lenten music program uplifting and inspirational.
The music will continue to follow the theme “I AM” and each week will feature a selection of music related to the scriptures of the day.
March 30:
I Am the Way, the Truth, and the Life
April 6:
I Am the Bread of Life
