In Our Prayers
We pray for a safe, secure, and successful Rummage Sale. And we thank God for all of our amazing, hard-working volunteers who make it all possible!
Please continue to pray for Greg Hawkins, who is recovering at home.
Lori Godwin asks for prayers:
-
for Becky, the niece of her friend Donna Friedel. Becky is having surgery for colon cancer;
-
for Becky's father Stephen, who is scheduled for surgery to relieve his Parkinsons;
-
for the children of John Stockler, who recently lost their father to a battle with multiple myeloma; and
-
for Harry, the son of her friend Jane, who is back in the hospital.
| | Do you have a prayer request to share with our LAC community? Call our prayer line at (914) 834-1800, ext. 342. | | Native Plant & Pollinator Garden Ribbon Cutting | | |
This past Sunday, LAC dedicated its Native Plant & Pollinator Garden. Blessed by beautiful Spring weather, many from our congregation joined us to celebrate a new way for us to enjoy and care for God's creation.
We offer our sincere thanks to the Eco Task Force for all their hard work and dedication to this project. We would like to give special thanks to the Nahr and Poyet families for their generosity and to Perri McKinley for her talent, expertise, and creativity in planning the garden space.

Sacrament of Baptism
On Sunday, we were blessed to welcome Theodore Alexander Nodell, son of Alex and Corrina Nodell, into the covenant community of the church. Baptisms always remind us of the warm and joyful welcome that we receive from God -- not because we have earned this welcome, but simply because God loves us so completely.

This year's Youth Sunday theme is: Finding the Center. In a culture that demands so much from our youth, we are reminded to rest. God only wants our hearts. God provides. God has claimed us, and we are enough. Our LAC youth, with their clarity of thought and voice, are sure to provide inspiration and guidance for us all as we navigate the increasing demands of modern life.
Music in Worship will be presented this week by:
