In Our Prayers

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden and unexpected passing of Laura Torrisi on May 28th. Laura was very loved here at LAC and will be greatly missed. Our prayers go out to her friends and family, but especially to her daughters, Nina and Julia. A memorial service will be held at LAC on Wednesday morning, June 4th. Details to come.

Lori Godwin asks for prayers for Harry, the son of her friend Jane, who is back in the hospital.

We pray for Peg and Bob Mayo as they continue to grieve the death of their son, Michael Scott Mayo.

Peg and Bob invite the congregation to attend Michael's memorial service on June 14th at 11:00 am in the sanctuary, followed by an interment in the Memorial Garden.

Michael's obituary can be found here.

Do you have a prayer request to share with our LAC community? Call our prayer line at (914) 834-1800, ext. 342.

After worship on Sunday, June 1^st John Sykes V will host a pancake breakfast in Carhart Hall as a fundraiser for his Eagle Project, which involves the refurbishment of Memorial Garden. The anticipated work will include power washing the stones, mulching the existing path, repainting the wrought-iron fencing, and fabricating six new benches for peaceful reflection and use during memorial services.

All are welcome to join us for breakfast to celebrate our LAC community and Memorial Garden!

Join us for the upcoming Midnight Run community service opportunity on June 7th.
