The Weeping Prophet by Michelangelo

FIFTEENTH SUNDAY AFTER PENTECOST

September 21, 2025

This Sunday

Rev. Anna Grace Claunch

will preach a sermon entitled

"No Balm in Gilead "

based on

Jeremiah 8:18-9:1

Join us in worship at 10 am in person or via livestream on Facebook, YouTube, or our Livestream page.

In Our Prayers

We pray for Anna Grace's stepfather, Steve, who is undergoing a number of heart treatments.
We pray today for those on the margins of society who have been disrespected and harmed by broken ideologies. We ask God to help us see the divine spark in all people, and to remember that all of us stand on equal footing before heaven. God, please help us to heal as a nation.
We pray for Lori Godwin, who is rehabilitating after a recent hospital stay.
We pray for our members and friends who are in Scotland. We look forward to hearing about their adventures when they return!
