Third Sunday of Advent

This Sunday

the children of LAC will present their

Annual Christmas Pageant!

Join us in worship at 10 am in person or on Facebook, YouTube, or our Livestream page.

In Our Prayers

  • Prayers continue for our church secretary Betty Roodal, who is recovering from surgery.
  • We offer prayers for healing for Beverly McAllister, who is suffering from sciatica. May her pain dissipate quickly.
  • We also continue to pray for Lori Godwin's brother-in-law Vic. He is continuing to have difficulty after a recent heart attack. We also offer prayers for the family of Elaine, a friend of Lori's sister, who died suddenly and unexpectedly. May God's comfort be felt.
  • We pray for all of the children who will be participating in Sunday's Christmas Pageant. We thank you all for inspiring us and reminding us of what the season is all about!

JOIN LAC IN SHARING HOLIDAY CHEER

Help LAC bring Christmas cheer to our neighbors in need and share the hope and joy that Christmas promises.

The LAC Christmas Basket program is a long-time LAC tradition and a wonderful opportunity for our congregation to provide to those in need and celebrate the spirit of giving.

We are looking for LAC members to provide wrapped Christmas gifts (based on wish lists) and grocery gift cards for families identified by our Mission Partner the CRC (Community Resource Center). Each family will also receive a gift basket filled with Christmas goodies.

There are two ways you can help:

1.  Purchase and wrap gifts by Dec 12 listed on a family wish list LAC Xmas Fund Wishlist

2. Donate funds.  The C&C committee will use monetary donations to purchase holiday treats, hats, scarves, small games, body lotion, and food gift cards to fill a basket for each family. Donations can be made on the LAC website by selecting Christmas Basket Fund in the dropdown menu on the giving page, or by mailing a check to LAC with Christmas Basket Fund on the memo line.

In the event of surplus funds, we will direct them towards the youth group Bridges to Community service trip this coming February.

We have been overwhelmed by your generosity in the past and have faith that it will continue this year as well.

We hope you’ll agree that this is an opportunity to share our Christmas bounty!

Thank you!
