Adventist World Aviation has a fleet of over 20 planes and supports isolated communities in a variety of ways: medical evacuations, medical outreach (such as vaccinations and general clinics), dental outreach, lifestyle and health programs, and Christian ministries. A Ribbon-Cutting With Coates Hearing Clinic

We had a great time earlier this week as we welcomed Dr. Kathleen Coates and her staff into the Chamber family with a ribbon-cutting ceremony! Coates Hearing Clinic, PA is a family-run clinic that has "a patient-first attitude" and a desire to positively impact our local community. Breakfast before Business is Feb. 7 at JCC

Johnston Community College Foundation will host the annual Breakfast before Business on Thursday, Feb. 7. The event will be held at 7:30 a.m. in the Public Safety Building on the JCC main campus in Smithfield.

Corey Rush and Keegan Rush, brothers and co-founders of Blue Pack Marketing in Clayton, are the keynote speakers. Blue Pack Marketing prides itself for knowledge on brand development, supply chain logistics, advertising and marketing flows, and more.

During the event, the College will also announce its 2018 Business and Industry Partner

New Dual Enrollment Program to Create
Affordable Pathway to a Teaching Degree
Johnston County Public Schools, Johnston Community College and the NC State College of Education are establishing a dual enrollment program and piloting an Associate in Science (Teacher Education Concentration) degree to create an affordable pathway to earn a teaching degree and to supply highly-qualified teachers for Johnston County.

Through the partnership, Johnston County residents will complete their Associate in Science (Teacher Education Concentration) from Johnston Community College. If they complete the program with at least a 3.0 GPA, they will matriculture into a teacher preparation program at NC State University. As the students work toward completing their bachelor’s degree, they will receive field-based experiences in Johnston County.
