Our 2nd Annual Earthworm Festival drew a great crowd with a variety of activities and entertainment! This included tours of the farm and our operations, composting and worm bin workshops, a petting zoo, and so much more. Join Sarah Archer (owner of 5Heart Earthworm Farm) and Amy Freeman (Organics and Composting Maven, Resource Conservationist) as we host another round of FREE workshops to celebrate Earth Month and the coming of International Compost Awareness Week (May 5-11)! Learn about the process of reducing food waste through backyard composting and setting up, maintaining, and harvesting from your own worm bin.

Summer Day Camp

Do you know a child who loves worms and would like to be a worm scientist for a day? Our Summer Day Camp is the perfect opportunity for 8-12 year olds to explore the worm farm, see worms in action and learn how they can make an impact on our environment. After spending a day with us, the day campers will gain a new appreciation for our wiggly friends and playing in the dirt!


This outdoor day camp will be rain or shine - be sure to dress for the weather!
