Ashley Faison

Manager of Mission Initiatives


Dedicated to issue education and to helping others advocate for themselves, with a track record for fostering a culture that supports both the importance of education and well-being of individuals. Ashley has a commitment to racial justice/equity, women’s rights, black maternal health, empowering diverse groups of people, and general community service. She has experience in meeting the needs of at-risk students and low-income families.


In 2018, Ashley piloted YW3CA’s Implicit Bias trainings in addition to other advocacy related work. Ashley previously managed YW’s Foster Grandparents Program, AmeriCorps VISTA initiatives and YW’s Early Head Start program. Prior to YW, Ashley worked at the Pottstown School District offering restorative practices to at risk youth in addition to the district’s 21st Century Learning iSucceed Program. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Relations with a concentration in Criminal Justice from the Nation’s first HBCU, Cheyney University of Pennsylvania. In her 7th year at YWCA Tri-County Area, Ashley has gained a wealth of knowledge through the Tri County Chamber of Commerce Leadership program, NELI, YWCA USA BIWOC Cohort, and Maternity Care Coalition where she will begin Doula training this Fall, as well as internal trauma informed training. 

Kelly Grosser

Chief Mission Impact Officer


Kelly oversees several key YW initiatives and departments: Youth Empowerment, Advocacy, Unite to Heal PA, Foster Grandparents, VISTA, and Trauma and Prevention Services. She is an experienced educator and youth development professional who established, led, and grew YW’s Youth Empowerment Programs for more than 10 years while also facilitating implicit bias and other advocacy related trainings on behalf of the organization before stepping into a broader mission-focused role. She holds a bachelor’s degree in English, a Health and Life Coach Certification, holds numerous mission-aligned and youth-focused certifications, and holds teacher certifications in several states. Over the last 4 years, she has continued her personal and professional development through Lakeside Global Institute. Today she holds a Trauma-Competent Professional Certification after taking three year-long intensive trauma courses that go well beyond trauma-informed foundational information and basic skills: Enhancing Trauma Awareness, Deepening Trauma Awareness and Applying Trauma Principles. In addition, she also took intensive Train the Trainer trauma-informed training for facilitating reflective trauma-focused conversations. She is also a certified Health and Life Coach through Health Coach Institute, supporting transformational change for individuals and groups of all ages. She was recognized by Hello Insight as a Rising Star in data acquisition and use.
