This Sunday, This Week
9th Sunday after Pentecost
Mark’s gospel makes clear how great was the press of the crowd, with its countless needs to be met, on Jesus and his disciples. Yet in today’s gospel Jesus advises his disciples to get away and rest, to take care of themselves. Sometimes we think that when others are in great need we shouldn't think of ourselves at all; but Jesus also honors the caregivers’ need. We are sent from Christ’s table to care for others and for ourselves.
Vacation Bible School
July 23 - 27 | 9:00 - 11:30 a.m.
Coming Soon
Old Time Gospel Sunday is back! July 29 with one service only, 10:30 a.m.

Join us for an outside worship service where we'll be praising the lord, hearing the word,
and singing about that old time religion that has something to share with the world to this very day!

All are welcome! All are invited! Bring your lawn chair, your tent, your umbrella, and your tappin' toes, 'cause after this worship, you'll know you've been to church!

Thank yo to all who responded to the survey. The music has been picked and we look forward to sharing this special time with you as we sing and worship together.

Stay afterwards for our Church Picnic and Ice Cream Social!
The Wired Word is an easy way to keep your faith going even while on summer vacation!
Whether you are on a vacation or stay-cation, we want to help make staying close to God easy! The Wired Word takes current events from the week and relates them to Scripture. It's an easy way to stay connected to God, and a great study to do by yourself or with others, whether you are at home or away!

Sign up to have a weekly lesson emailed right to your inbox every Thursday.
The start of school is just around the corner! On Sunday, August 12 at 8:30am and 11am children are encouraged to bring their backpacks up around the altar for a special blessing!
