| | Atlanta on the World Stage: AeroATL at PTE World London 2026 | | |
The work happening right here in the Atlanta metro region is getting international attention, and this week made that undeniable.
AeroATL represented at PTE World Conference in London among 11,000+ attendees and 450+ vendors, joining global leaders in a panel discussion on airport cities, multimodality, economic development, and community integration. Panelists Shannon James, Filip Czernicki, Askin Demir, and Laurence Liauw, moderated by the remarkable Ulla Ruuskanen, brought their collective expertise to a room full of people eager to understand how airport areas like ours are being transformed through intentional regional planning and partnership.
What makes Atlanta stand out? Our local leadership and our commitment to collaboration as a driver of inclusive growth. That formula is becoming a model for airport communities around the world, and moments like this prove it.
None of this happens without vision. A special thank you to Janine McEvilly for bringing AeroATL to the table, opening doors to a broader network, greater resources, and a growing sphere of influence on the global stage.
And a proud shout-out to Board Chairman Axel Adams, MBA, of Delta Air Lines, for joining us in this milestone moment for our organization.
PTE World London 2026 was excellent, and this is only the beginning.
| | Flying Taxis Are Coming. Atlanta Is Leading the Way | | |
Flying taxis. In Atlanta. Let that sink in.
AeroATL just convened the first in a series of conversations bringing together some of the sharpest minds in air mobility, and the energy in the room was electric. This think-tank, focused on Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) and Urban Air Mobility (UAM), is laying the groundwork for a regional pilot program that could put flying taxis in Atlanta's skies sooner than you think.
The names in that room say everything. Georgia Institute of Technology, Georgia DOT, Wing, Joby Aviation, Delta Air Lines, the Federal Aviation Administration, and more, all gathered under one roof to shape what comes next.
| | Aerotropolis Night at the Gateway Center Arena: Community, Courts, and Collaboration | | |
We took it to the hardwood.
AeroATL brought the energy to Gateway Center Arena for Aerotropolis Night at the College Park Skyhawks game, and the community showed up in full force. The pace was fast, the rooms were full, and the execution was even stronger.
Moments like this are about more than basketball. They are about building relationships, deepening roots, and reminding our community that this work belongs to all of us.
To our Board, our partners, and the broader Aerotropolis Community: thank you for showing up, leaning in, and keeping this movement going. We see you. We appreciate you.
And if this night proved anything, it is that we are just getting started.

| | 100 Years, 100 Trees: Hartsfield-Jackson and Delta Air Lines Plant Roots for the Next Century | | |
On March 28, Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport and Delta Air Lines marked a century of operations in a way that went beyond the celebration itself.
In partnership with Trees Atlanta and the City of College Park, the two aviation giants came together to plant 100 trees for 100 years, turning a milestone moment into a lasting investment in the environment and the communities surrounding the Airport.
Executive Deputy General Manager Ms. Jan Lennon, MS, IAP, set the tone with a powerful message: honoring the past means protecting the future. Her remarks centered on environmental stewardship, the next 100 years of growth, and the continued commitment to building stronger relationships with the neighborhoods that call this airport region home.
One hundred trees. One hundred years. And a clear signal that the work ahead is just as important as the legacy behind it.
| | Join us for a Century of Growth: Tree Planting Celebration | | |
Join us on April 17 (8:30 AM – Noon) as we celebrate ATL's Centennial by giving back to the community we love. We're planting 100 trees in College Park and need 30+ volunteers to make it happen.
Get your hands dirty for a greener future.
