UPCOMING PROGRAMS & EVENTS:

September is World Alzheimer's Month

Each year, people around the world unite to advocate to raise awareness around dementia and Alzheimer's disease! Dementia is a shared challenge with impact felt by everyone. Join us in raising awareness!

(Sept 5) Today is International Day of Charity!

We are so grateful to be a registered Canadian charity that provides free programs and services to those in our community - but we couldn't do it alone. Donors, partners, volunteers and advocates: you make everything we do possible. We are honoured to be the recipient of your support, your time, and your passion. So, on this very special day, we send a huge thank you out to all those who have helped us become the charity we are today. Did you know? ASHPE is less than 47% funded by the Ministry of Health. We rely on the support of our community and donors to continue providing our programs and services in our region.

In Canada, someone is diagnosed with dementia every 3 minutes. And right here in HPE, families facing this disease are overwhelmed and in need of support from the Alzheimer Society.

This work is only possible thanks to our generous supporters. But to keep pace with this relentless disease, we need your help now, more than ever.

Please consider making a donation during World Alzheimer's Month
