Angelic cares about you! A new policy has been established, Compassionate Leave. When you suffer loss, we now offer up to three [3] days of additional leave per year so you can grieve and get the support you need. The first day used will be paid leave. The additional two days, if used, will be unpaid. The days may be requested continuous or separate.

Why you might take compassionate leave:
  • Someone around you is experiencing grief or terminal illness
  • Taking time off for particular occasions (funeral, or the birthday or anniversary of someone who’s died)
  • Pregnancy loss such as miscarriage, stillbirth, or infant loss
  • Experiencing long-term grief of a loved one
  • Grieving the loss of a patient for whom you provided care

Remember, if something else is affecting your ability to work, please chat with your manager or human resources so we can support you. Further details may be found in the policy located on the company intranet.  

Referral Bonus
If you recruit a candidate for an open position with Angelic Health and they are hired and stay in that position for at least 90 days you will receive $1,000 for your referral. You must notify your supervisor that you referred the candidate prior to the candidate being hired. Please email HR@angelichospice.net with any questions.
