Keepers of the Dream
Reverend Scott McNeill
HG Wenzel, in a book about Unitarian Universalism, talks about everyday people who transform the world by their daily actions. We, too, are keepers of the dream--people who change the world for the better by living our values. Join us for inspiration as we continue our month of focus on "Transformation."
This Sunday in Religious Education: Transformation
Our younger children will be learning about our Indigo UU Promise: Insist on a peaceful, fair and free world.  Preschoolers will be exploring the story of Jonah and the Whale. Our K+ classes will hear the story The Coconut Monk as they think about the different ways people work for peace.  Curiosity Club will investigate art and stories from the Hebrew and Christian Bible.  YUUMS will meet during second service to work on their contribution to Pledge Day.  The High School  Youth Group will gather for pizza, ping pong and party games.
RE Staff will be in the Lucy Booth between services on this Sunday to answer questions and hear your thoughts regarding religious education.

Our Folks . . .
Our sympathy and thoughts are with Ray Fellman and Scott Hogsed, upon the recent death of Ray's Aunt Emily, who was the matriarch of Ray's family.
Congratulations to Delachaise Cusack who is performing in The Music Man at the MAC on 4/7, 4/9 and 4/15; Joe Grimme and his quartet also perform in this production.
Congratulations also to youth from our congregation, including Catherine Barker as the lead, performing in Urinetown at Bloomington North this weekend and next weekend.
Rob Boston Chalice Series Lecture Informative, Inspiring
Many thanks to John Crosby and Rob Hongen and everyone else who helped make our Chalice Lecture Series event a success on March 31. Rob Boston's talk was provocative and inspiring and many interesting questions arose during the talk back. Of those gathered, several made the trek from Indianapolis and Hendricks County to attend, and good connections were made. Our semi-annual Child Dedication will be a special part of both services on Easter Sunday, April 16. If you are interested in having your child dedicated please contact Adrienne Summerlot at dre@uubloomington.org or 812-332-3695.
