Jason Horton Honored with CSHOF Award
On Wednesday, April 18th, Special Olympics Colorado Athlete Jason Horton was honored with the 2018 Athlete With Disabilities Award at the Colorado Sports Hall of Fame Induction Banquet. Along with receiving this prestigious award, Jason was able to meet his hero, former Denver Bronco and 2018 Hall of Fame Inductee, Peyton Manning. Click here to learn more about Jason
2018 Law Enforcement Torch Run Series
The Law Enforcement Torch Run (LETR) is Special Olympics' largest grass-roots fundraiser and public awareness vehicle.  During the months of May and June, law enforcement agencies and Special Olympics Colorado athletes will light the way to inclusion throughout Colorado by carrying the "Flame of Hope" during the 2018 Torch Run Series. New Fitness Captain Program
Special Olympics Colorado has a new Fitness Captain Program! Fitness Captains help their team improve their overall health by adding fitness and stretching exercises to their workouts. On May 31st, more than 30 Fitness Captains from around the state will run/walk 2 miles at the Law Enforcement Torch Run (LETR) Tribute at the Capitol event. FirstBank Golf Tournament - July 16th
Grab your foursome and join us at the 34th Annual FirstBank Golf Tournament on July 16th at the Omni Interlocken Golf Club! Special Olympics Youth of the Week
Congratulations to Savannah Rock and Mae Robison on being selected as the Special Olympics Youth of the Week! They will also be representing Colorado at the 2018 USA Games Youth Leadership Experience. Savannah and Mae met in middle school, but their friendship grew in high school as they participated in Unified activities like Unified PE, Unified basketball and track, Grandview High School's Unified Club, and the Special Olympics Colorado Youth Activation Committee. Most importantly, they state, "We share the same goal to always have an inclusive community and acceptance for all."

th Annual Plane Pull presented by Subway at Signature Flight Support at Denver International Airport. If you've never participated in the Plane Pull before, this is your chance!
