Introducing Shiplap!

We are enhancing our lineup of Lifespan® trim boards and moulding profiles with the addition of Lifespan® 1x8 shiplap. This is a true shiplap product, which can be installed as a tight shiplap or gapped for a nickel gap appearance. It is dual faced with one smooth side and one rough side, allowing two appearance choices.  

The shiplap product is a solid, knot free, radiata pine, manufactured by the same mill that brings us the Lifespan® Solid Select trim boards and is suitable for both interior and exterior use, unlike our 1x8 nickel gap which is suitable for interior use only.

All Lifespan products are treated for protection against moisture, rot, fungal attack, and insects and are coated with 2 coats of an alkyd primer. It comes with a limited lifetime warranty and will be stocked and available in 12’ and 16’ lengths.
