April 2022
Kristen Bell Event
May 19 - 6:30 p.m. ET
Purple People love to learn, laugh, and ask BIG questions—just like Girl Scouts! Join us for a members-only fun virtual event with actress, producer, parent, and Girl Scout alum Kristen Bell, co-author of THE WORLD NEEDS MORE PURPLE PEOPLE. Get ready to paint your world purple on Thursday, May 19!

This event is open to Girl Scouts who join or renew their membership from April 1 through May 13.
This 24-hour challenge, hosted by the Community Foundation of Sarasota County will help provide financial support that will directly benefit all girls in our 10 county region, through council programs, council camp upkeep, program scholarships, and more!

Our submission for Best Giving Challenge Video Commercial was one of ten prize winners selected! A big THANK YOU to Troops 10, 40, 140, 592, and 707 for participating in our video and bringing home a win!
Join us at Camp Honi Hanta for our free community Giving Challenge event on April 26 from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. in partnership with Prospect Riding Center. Bring the entire family to enjoy light bites, adult beverages, yard games, and live music from the 301 Travelers!
Thank You Volunteers!
Every April, we celebrate the powerful, life-changing contributions our volunteers make to Girl Scouts all year long. No matter what the world throws at us, you are the ones who keep the Girl Scout spirit strong--and whatever you bring to Girl Scouts at this time, your efforts are incredible and appreciated. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

Check out this special message from Sofia Chang, GSUSA's CEO, and Margaret Seiler, Juliette Gordon Low's Grandniece!

Not a volunteer but want to show your appreciation? Recognize a volunteer, Girl Scout, or alum during Giving Challenge with the opportunity to have your donation matched up to $100 by the Patterson Foundation during the 24-hour giving period, April 26-27 from Noon to Noon!
