Have You Met Jennifer?

Have you met Jen, or Jennifer, one of our fabulous Public Health Dental Hygienists? Jen is a dedicated member of our Mobile School Sealant Team. There's no better time than now to let you know her a bit better as we celebrate all of our dental hygienists during Dental Hygienist Week.

What makes you smile?

"It doesn’t take much to make me smile. I smile every time I hear my daughter play her instrument and watch her perform. I smile, between my excessively loud cheering, when watching my youngest daughter race. And who couldn’t smile watching the hummingbirds in the backyard fly from flower to flower and zip past my head. While at work watching kids get excited to see us makes me grin from ear to ear."

How do you spread smiles?

"I love to cook and bake for people because I want them to enjoy good food while having a good time. My favorite time is around Christmas when we hold a tamale party. Everyone helps spread masa all day long, while we eat and drink. Everyone leaves with a full belly and a bag of fresh tamales to unwrap when they go home."
