April 2026

President’s note:

April — Volunteer Appreciation Month & Call for New Board Volunteers

Hi Everyone,

What an amazing March — I hope you’re all enjoying golf, friends, and your LPGA Amateur events!

April is Volunteer Appreciation Month. This month we celebrate the incredible volunteers who give their time, energy, and expertise to make our league thrive. We owe a special thanks to our long‑standing board members whose tireless service has shaped our chapter. Many of them have already transitioned off the board (or will at the end of their current terms), and we deeply appreciate their dedication and example — they’ve inspired others to raise their hands.

I’m honored to serve as your President during this period of transition. While change can be challenging, it’s also energizing: new board members bring fresh ideas and enthusiasm. Because several long‑standing volunteers are stepping down, we’re issuing a call for new volunteers to fill multiple roles.

Soon you’ll receive an email to the entire membership listing open positions and volunteer opportunities. Please respond to that message — even if you can’t volunteer right now — so we have everyone’s input to continue improving our league and delivering a best‑in‑class experience.

I look forward to seeing you on the greens in April. Let’s make this a fantastic season together!
