WBJC's monthly newsletter to keep you informed about programming highlights, upcoming local events and general station news.
Now is the time to support the music YOU love
We don't need to tell you that the Arts, and Public Broadcasting, are probably not going to receive funding as they once did.

WBJC is a small, independent station. We are not part of the NPR umbrella. We are not funded by the college who holds our license. We are funded by YOU... the individual members, by local businesses who underwrite the programming you hear, and by a modicum of grants that are rapidly drying up.

Next month, when we hold our final pledge drive of the fiscal year, you'll hear us sounding very upbeat and positive, and you might think "Hey WBJC is doing just fine." I mean no one wants to hear a bunch of sad or fearful people on the air crying about how we are desperate for funds. What a downer!

But actually we don't feel desperate. We are  positive that the approximately 200,000 WBJC listeners will decide that Classical Music is worthwhile, that WBJC brings something worthwhile to our audience.

Now, more than ever, it's so important for you to become a Steward of the Arts. It's time to stand up and take care of the services you hold dear. We hope that WBJC is one of those that you value. Please don't wait, pledge your support today!
BSO Berlioz Contest

Congratulations  to our winner, John Wendling of Pasadena, MD!

John won two tickets to the April 7th performance of the Berlioz Symphonie fantastique at the Meyerhoff, dinner for two at The Elephant Restaurant and transportation for the night from Towson Door To Door.
Getting a new car? “Don’t trade it, donate it!”  Before you head to the dealer, plan on donating your older vehicle to WBJC. Usually the value you'll receive for your donation will meet or exceed what the dealer will offer you as a trade-in and is fully tax-deductible.

Call 855-WBJC-CAR or donate securely online.  Click here to see how easy  it is!
