WBJC’s spring on-air fundraiser is scheduled to begin on May 19 and run for four days. However, you can shorten the drive. For every $60,000 we raise before the drive begins, we will eliminate a day of fundraising. In the past, you have enabled us to reduce the length of our drives by a third! Let’s do it again. CLICK HERE TO DONATE NOW
When you support WBJC now, you nurture an inspirational oasis of joy, beauty, peace, and passion – in these times, perhaps more vital and rewarding than ever.
Day after day you’ll hear the lovely echoes of your gift resonate through the music you enjoy. Please stand with WBJC now and support the power of passion and joy.
With gratitude,

Everyone here at WBJC is pleased to welcome our newest member of the on-air staff, Abhinn Malhotra!
Abhinn debuted unofficially during our Winter Pledge drive, and then officially on Monday 3/14 (pie day!) substituting for Dyana.

ATTENTION! Streaming update... update!
WBJC changed to a new streaming service in mid-March. Folks who use the buttons on our website to listen should not have to do anything special. You will notice a new "pop-up" player.
People who use Alexa/Google/TuneIn: we've made sure that TuneIn has updated their connection, you should be good to go! If you have any issues, let us know.
Finally, anyone who has a device that uses the direct stream URL, has a desktop icon/bookmark saved, or uses a different service not fed by TuneIn, will have to update to the new URL:
https://ice64.securenetsystems.net/WBJC
If you are still having issues connecting, try contacting the manufacturer of your device, or support for the service you're using, and give them the above URL to update their systems.
Thanks everyone!

Kellen Johnson selected two works for “Guarding the Art.” Max Beckmann’s Still Life with Large Shell (1939), a portrait of his wife, Mathilde, has a connection to music (Kellen is studying singing at Towson University), and Normandy Landscape (1928) is by the Black artist, Hale Woodruff.

Many Maryland residents may be unaware that they could be eligible for a tax credit if they own a home – perhaps even if they’re renters! I recently spoke with Francine Hyman, SOAR Program Director at the Maryland Consumer Rights Coalition, about the agency’s “Take the Credit” program.

Getting a new car? Don’t trade-in, donate!
Before you head to the dealer, plan to donate your older vehicle to WBJC. Usually the value you'll receive for your donation will meet or exceed what the dealer will offer you as a trade-in and is fully tax-deductible. We also take boats and RVs!
