I would be willing to say, with confidence, that since the outbreak of the coronavirus in 2020 almost everyone has participated in a Zoom / Facetime / WebEx / Teams meeting of some kind. Doctor’s appointment, Boy Scouts den and pack meetings, parent / teacher conferences, and many other in-person events moved to the virtual platform out of necessity during the pandemic. So how do you accomplish customer training in a situation where customers are not allowing visitors into their facilities and travel is still an uncertainty? Take it virtual like everything else.
We have been asked by some customers if we could lead some trainings for their techs and mechanics. Thanks to the technology available we were able to accomplish this. Hydra-Tech has a collection of Power Point presentations covering:
- General company and product offering overview.
- Operation and maintenance of a hydraulic pumping system including setup and startup of a typical HPU / Pump / Hose Set combination.
- Complete disassembly and reassembly of a hydraulic submersible dewatering pump.
- Startup of a hydraulic power unit
- Maintenance, operation and troubleshooting for a couple of different specific pumps.
