Banner Project

Apply by August 26 at 9 a.m.

Artist Fee: $1,500 + HST (if applicable)


Attention professional artists or artist teams! Submit a proposal to create banner artwork to be installed on the front of the Halton Hills Library & Cultural Centre located at 9 Church Street. The work can be created in any medium but must be provided as high-resolution digital files.

Plein Air Painting Challenge 

Saturday, September 21 at the Acton Fall Fair 

 

Artists are invited to paint at the Acton Fall Fair, and the public is encouraged to watch them create while enjoying the festivities. This event is proudly presented by the Helson Gallery in partnership with the Acton Agricultural Society and Culture Days.

Halton Black History Awareness Society: Emancipation Art Exhibition

On display until September 15 in the Helson Gallery and Upper Sisnett Lobby 

  

The seventh annual Emancipation Art Exhibition aims to educate viewers about Black history and celebrate the freedom achieved through Emancipation. On August 4, artists were awarded for works that best reflect and articulate the Black Experience. We invite you to visit and explore the full range of these impactful artworks on display.
