Richmond Department of Emergency Communications employees joined with the Police, Fire, Ambulance Authority and others to film a video for the lip sync challenge on July 26. Thanks to everyone who participated!

Nine new employees start 29th Basic Dispatch Academy
The 29th Basic Dispatch Academy began July 23 with nine new employees. Their graduation is planned for Sept. 14.

Reaching into the community
We are increasing our outreach in the community, and you can help! Thanks to Linwood Harris, Brittany Weirup-Washington, Dawn Bishop, Tori Hymons and Felicia Roane for educating the community on 911 at the Hood Temple Church Block Party and DPU Safety Extravaganza. Also, Delivia Byrd attended the Mirror Me conference in Washington, D.C.
