The Hell of Hunger
Reverend Scott McNeill
In some way, we all know what it's like to get really hungry-but what is it like to not be able to satisfy that physical need? What is it like to be spiritually hungry and not find the sustenance necessary to feel full again? Our worship on the 6th will reflect on how we feed and nourish ourselves, and one another.
The Bloomington Chamber Singers will provide our choral music.
This Week in Religious Education: Focus on Kenya
This week in Religious Education we begin our August Intersession where we will focus on the fascinating East African country of Kenya.  Kids of all ages will explore our theme of wonder as they rotate through art, games, or visit with our International Outreach Task Force. At 9:15 our preschool kids will participate in intersession.  At 11:15 am our preschoolers will hear the story "What If Zebras Lost Their Stripes" and explore the orange promise, offer fair and kind treatment. Middle and High School Youth groups continue their summer hiatus. The high schoolers will resume on August 20.

Happy August, Religious Education Families!
We know this time of year can be overwhelming with information as we prepare to get back in the swing of things. We have tried to put most of the helpful info for RE all in one space. Your Pledge Dollars at Work--More Music!
We recently purchased a big bunch of new music for our choir--from early Italian to Stevie Wonder to The Sound of Music. There is an exciting musical church year ahead!
Give Choir a Try!
