Walk a Mile
In Her Shoes® "Virtually"
Due to the current public health crisis, our Annual Walk A Mile In Her Shoes® event will be held virtually this year on Saturday, September 12th. Although we won’t be able to see each of you in person for this year’s event, we will be sharing all of the photos, stories, heels, and statistics that you send us throughout the day on the Laurel House Walk a Mile In Her Shoes® Facebook page. Use the hashtags #LHWAM #LHredheels and have fun! Registration is $35 and includes a Walk a Mile In Her Shoes® shirt, Laurel House 40th Anniversary challenge coin, and heels (if needed!) Learn more

Take the 2020 Census!
The deadline for completing the 2020 Census was recently cut short by one month to September 30th. This means that there could potentially be millions of households across the country, including minority and homeless populations, that are at risk of not being counted in this year's Census. Census results effect every part of our lives, including healthcare, public education, infrastructure, and even government re-districting for the next ten years. Make sure your household gets counted! Complete the Census and learn more here.
