Adults and teens, please turn in your reading logs by Friday, August 7th to redeem your tickets and enter the raffle.
Children may redeem their beads any point before the end of the summer. There is a special prize for the first 20 children who complete the summer reading program.
Summer Reading raffle winners will be chosen and announced the week of August 10th.

Adult Craft: Diamond Painting Mandala Keychains

Join us for a fun time learning to Diamond Paint! This fun and easy craft uses an applicator to apply rhinestones in a pre-made design. We'll be making double sided mandala keychains!
Wallington patrons will have priority during the first week of registration, beginning August 6th. Non-residents will be able to register beginning August 13th.
You must enter a library card number to register, regardless of residence. Registrations without a valid library card number and out of town residents registering before their date will be canceled.
Registrants who haven't arrived after 10 minutes from program start time, forfeit their seat in the program.

Chemistry Event for Kids

Join us for a chemistry-oriented session for children ages 8 and up where they will create "Elephant Toothpaste" and Oobleck.
Participants will explore the science of chemical reactions and non-Newtonian fluids by creating Oobleck—a substance that uniquely behaves as both a solid and a liquid depending on the conditions. Additionally, students will learn about the different states of matter and how catalysts are used to accelerate chemical reactions.
