Volunteer Opportunities

Awareness Month:

February is just a few short months away, so it’s time to start gearing up for Cholangiocarcinoma Awareness Month! Together, we can raise awareness, support patients and caregivers, and advance cholangiocarcinoma research.

  • Light it Green: Submit lighting requests using our template and check the tracking sheet for requests already made. Contact Claire to add yours and light up your city for cholangiocarcinoma awareness.

  • Proclamations: Use this template to secure a proclamation, an official public statement issued by government officials, to raise awareness and support for those impacted by this rare cancer.

Be sure to periodically check the Awareness Month page on our website for updates.

Donor Thank-A-Thon:

This November, CCF will host our annual Donor Thank-A-Thon, and we’d love your help.

Willing Volunteers will be assigned a list of 10 past donors to call, simply to thank them for their generosity - no fundraising ask involved. With your help, we can reach our goal of thanking CCF donors for fueling hope, research, and progress.

The time commitment is light (about 1-2 hours at your convenience in early November), but the impact is lasting. You can learn more about the opportunity here

Please contact Claire Condrey with questions and to sign up.

Invitation to Submit Your Mentor Bio

If you’re interested in sharing your story and serving as a resource to your fellow mentors, please consider sharing your bio with us so we can include it in the Mentor Bios folder on the CholangioConnect Mentor shared Google Drive. Email your bio to Kim or Cindy, and we will happily upload it to the shared folder.
