Concert Tomorrow at Barrington's White House
The Summer Cultural Season at Barrington’s White House kicks off tomorrow, June 17, from 7:30-9:00 pm with "MGM and More - Movie Music of the 50’s & 60’s," featuring bass baritone William Powers, soprano Michelle Areyzaga and Lyric Opera pianist William Billingham. Volunteers Wanted for BACC Car Show on June 25
BACC is hosting its Classic Collectors Car Show on Saturday, June 25 from 12:00-4:00 pm in downtown Barrington. The Chamber is in need of help with directing cars to their parking spots, handing out materials, and assisting with collecting votes for the car show awards. RSVP for Restoration 1 Open House Mixer June 28
Restoration 1 of Cary will host a Multi-Chamber Open House Mixer on Tuesday, June 28 from 5:00-7:00 pm to celebrate their 5th anniversary and expansion at 150 S. Virginia Rd. in Crystal Lake. BACC members and neighboring chambers are invited to enjoy a fun evening of networking with a bags tournament and Brothers BBQ truck. This is a FREE event, but an RSVP is requested. Barrington Hills & Cuba Township Host Race on July 2
Sign up for the "Land We Love" 5K Run/Walk and 10K Run on Saturday, July 2 starting at 7:30 am hosted by the Village of Barrington Hills and Cuba Township. Registration fee is $35 by July 1. Race proceeds benefit Folds of Honor, an organization that provides scholarships to spouses and children of America's fallen and disabled service members. For details CLICK HERE.
Family Fitness 5K Run in Barrington on July 4th
Register to participate in Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital Health & Fitness Center's Family Fitness 5K Run & Kids Race on Monday, July 4 starting at 7:15 am in downtown Barrington. The kids' race begins at 8:30 am. Participation fees are $35/adult and $15/child before July 4, which includes a tech shirt or tank and a finisher award. Barrington Countryside FPD Open House is July 16
The Barrington Countryside Fire Protection District will be hosting an open house on Saturday, July 16 from 10:00 am-2:00 pm at their new station located at 1004 S Hough St. in Barrington. All are invited to attend. They will have a shuttle bus from the parking lot at 1301 S. Grove in Barrington. New 911 Dispatch Service for Barrington Police & Fire
The Village of Barrington Police and Fire departments announced that they have transitioned their emergency 911 dispatching services to the Northwest Central Dispatch Center System. There will be no change in response when residents call 911. Those who have a burglar or fire alarm monitored by a professional center should contact their service to update the phone number for alarm activations to (847) 590-3491. For details CLICK HERE.
