Heavy holiday traffic is expected this Thanksgiving

Planning on traveling this Thanksgiving weekend? You’d do well not to hit the road between 2:30 and 4:30 p.m. Wednesday afternoon, according to a  new report  from AAA and transportation analyst INRIX.

Nationwide, traffic is likely to be heavier this year than last, according to the report. In fact, its authors project that more people will travel long distances in 2018 than in any other year since 2005.

Around Burbank
Commuters of Burbank - Nick Burant

Burbank commuters come in all kinds. People bike, walk, bus, scoot, carpool, vanpool and drive. Here we will share the stories of commuters who live and/or work in Burbank. We aim to share stories that demonstrate it is possible to reduce our dependence on driving alone!
Our series’ first model commuter is Nick Burant. Nick works in the City of Burbank’s Community Development Department, and sometimes he takes the scenic route!
