Dear Mark,

As the leaves fall and the chill in the air deepens, we find ourselves in the midst of a festive time of year. The seasonal transition from fall to winter brings a remarkable transformation in Northeast Ohio, turning the landscape into a true winter wonderland. Winter officially starts on December 21st, however it's feeling quite wintery here already! With snowflakes in the forecast and the aroma of hot cocoa in the air, we are excited to welcome the festive season with open arms. It’s a time of joy, togetherness, and celebration - a season where our hearts are warmed with the spirit of giving and sharing!

From all of us at Bay Corporation, we wish you a warm season filled with festive lights, peppermint mochas, and cherished memories with friends and family!

With the holidays quickly approaching, it's important to consider sustainable gifts. Giving sustainable gifts can have many benefits including reducing waste, long-lasting quality, supporting local artists, and increasing awareness of ways to help the environment. Below is a list of ways to get sustainable gifts this season:

  • Reusable Items: Stainless steel or glass water bottles are durable, reusable, and reduce the need for disposable plastic bottles. Also, cloth or recycled-material tote bags
  • Zero-Waste Starter Kit: Include items like reusable beeswax wraps, stainless steel straws, and bamboo utensils to help someone kickstart a zero-waste lifestyle!
  • Buy Second Hand: Purchasing gently used items from local thrift stores will put those items back to use and can be a perfect gift!
  • Potted Plants: Indoor plants not only enhance air quality but also serve as long-lasting, sustainable gifts.
  • Artisanal Crafts: Handmade pottery, jewelry, or artwork from local artisans.
  • Cooking Class: Gift a cooking class using locally sourced and organic ingredients.
