February 2017
Here Are Just a Few Ways YOU Made 2016 a Year of Hope

Because of you, we were able to transform the lives of 30,000 people with MS, doubling our impact over 2015.

Because of your generosity, a $50,000 match was unlocked during our end-of-year-campaign, raising $101,030 to provide student scholarships for our health and wellness education programs.

Because of your dedication, program participants have been able to do things they once thought impossible, such as walking, returning to work, and starting a family.

What will 2017 bring?
Together, we can change lives!

SKI for MS Loon Exceeds Goal and Transforms Lives
SKI for MS Loon was hands down a successful and inspiring weekend, blowing their fundraising goal out of the water and bringing in $14,065 to help families with MS thrive! Thank you to everyone who volunteered, donated, participated, and fundraised!

In addition to the scavenger hunt, races, and hootin' and hollerin' après party, the adaptive ski program was also very successful and provided a humbling reminder of the physical, emotional, and social superpowers that skiing can create. Participants proved that a positive attitude and willingness to find a "new normal" can overcome any obstacle. Read more
Question: I know that an uninterrupted night's sleep is required to increase energy and stamina - both of which are critical with MS. At the same time, drinking water is necessary to reduce edema, prevent constipation, and help curtail falls caused by dehydration. How do I get sleep while drinking the necessary amount of fluids? How does one with a weak bladder obtain uninterrupted sleep?
