STAY IN THE HOME YOU LOVE!
Stairs can be problematic for a variety of reasons, and for some homeowners they have just become impractical. Many families are finding stairs to be difficult and cumbersome. If you or a loved one is having balance or instability issues when walking, stairs become unsafe and can lead to serious injury. Two alternatives for a more convenient solution are stair lifts and residential elevator.
Adaptive Environments of Sterling Heights has been helping people stay in the home they love safely for 35 years. Call us at 586.739.9300 for more information, or visit our showroom. www.adaptive-environments.com.

CONCERNS ABOUT REAL ID DEADLINE
Beginning October 1st, the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) will require all air travelers over the age of 18 to present REAL ID-compliant driver’s licenses to fly, but only 27% of Americans have been issued compliant IDs and 43% of Americans are unaware of the deadline, according to a recent survey. DHS has said it has no plans to extend the deadline. As many as 85,000 travelers could be blocked from flying on the first day of implementation if steps are not taken to improve preparedness for the change.
